Tristan and his girlfriend moved out today. I will miss that he took out the recycling almost weekly.

Well Bassets are back for a third try at getting my furnace working correctly. Actually it's been heating okay, just making a lot of noises, like air in the pipes. This time they think it's the pump so hopefully it'll solve the problem this time.

I don't know if I picked the wrong day or the right day to have the new furnace installed.

Had a vacation day today anyway and was supposed to drive to Dayton to go house hunting. We will be baking and online shopping instead.

ah, yes, 2 hour delay for Edgardo and "big kids". Nico and I shoveled the driveway and left only 1/2 hour off schedule. Roads really weren't that bad.... yet. Getting home will be another task.

Went shopping with Pat Schmidt today and I think I only have one more present to buy. Pat is a good person to shop with, we have grandkids around the same age and she definitely gave me an idea for one present that I'm really excited about. Hope the grandchild likes it as well as I do.

I hate to think how old our water heater is, but then our water is not so hard. Got up to 40 here today...70 in the house.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure the tank is corroded. The furnace guys we here to look at installing a new one, and there was a lot of water on the floor. It was manufactured in April 2000, so it's pretty close to the end of it's life.

Furnace works again so we've got that going for us. Only got down to 60 in here.
