Finally getting around to uploading the rest of the pictures from the summer. Instead of sotring them out, it's easier to just lump them together into one big recap:
After contacting everyone, it look like July works best for everyone. Mark down July 15th-22nd (Friday to Friday) as dates for the family reunion. That gives us: a)one weekend to focus on, b) the ability for people to choose their travel dates to reflect time off work, and c)a day or two to recuperate after all the fun/drama/water balloon fights. These exact dates may change a day or two based on the location we choose.
Also note the a few birthdays/anniversaries fall in this time frame, close to this time frame. Please let me know if you want to plan a special outing or adventure.
Next on the agenda is choosing a location. If you have any suggestions, please post them on trip-o-rama or if you have trouble posting, please email or call me to talk about suggestions. Right now, the only suggestions is the YMCA in Denver. Please keep in mind the following when considering locations: a) ease of travel for all family members, b) entertainment options for kids, adults, and adults who act like kids, and c) lodging options for those on a budget and those who need a bed & quiet.

On this day in history:
1928: The USA signs into federal law the Kellogg–Briand Pact, officially prohibiting war as an instrument of national policy, except in matters of self-defense.

I think I have taken care of all the little annoyances that needed cared for at home. I'm mailing in the computer tomorrow, have made a doctors appointment, paid bills, and mailed out the ones I wrote out and forgot to mail before I left. Now I can do something more productive, like unpacking before I repack to head to Rita's tomorrow.

I'm typing with cut and paste for the letter "o". It's a pain but it works and looks better than using the zero.

I think you are just making it up similar to that rumor of the missing W keys from all of the White House computers when Clinton left office.

Do I really need to break down why Day 2 makes the MOST sense?
a) Students do have anything to do yet.
b) Students are avoiding doing anything but drinking
c) Students haven't seen each other all summer, and that guy you had a crush on all semester broke up with his GF over the summer.
d) The human brain doesn't finish developing until age 25, probably because we consume so much alcohol between the ages of 18-25.
e) They are finally free from their parents again.
f) We really haven't given them enough to do yet.
I think I may be avoiding doing work.

I know that none of us have heard from Roman in awhile, but I think it's been awhile since he worked the night shift... unless of course you're implying another type of "just going home"
I'd get off and drink til day-light, and sleep the mornin' away.
AND my code won't italicize.

An adjective to describe said pet who didn't work out.

Was that another pet name or an adjective?
v

I went and watch the Other Guys last night - hilarious!
But as a frame of reference I also think it is hilarious that Rita suggested another pet name while Tracy was suggesting a seasoning for the pet.
