Hey Statue of Liberty! Well I'm jealous. I spent four days in New York once and never went higher than a fourth floor. Only saw the statue as my taxi from the airport was crossing a bridge.

In all fairness, I haven't taken photos of the marijuana shops at the end of the alley, the brothels down the street, or what happened when the transit sanitary department went on strike. Really though, I think the worst is the smell that emanates from Taco Mundo when you walk by their entrance.

Hrm, I also didn't mention getting verbally accosted by the Moroccan for two blocks on the way to the grocery store or seeing the Russians scuffling with the police on the way back from the grocery store. Merel swears this stuff doesn't normally happen though.

Found a sock and an Elmo video (the video was in the car) but that seems to be the only left behinds from L & P's vacation here. I'd give them an A plus, plus for packing up.

Couldn't get the link to Keukenhof to work, but did a google search and the pictures I found were fabulous. Between those and the ones NTO has been posting, I'm ready to pack my bags. What's the best season to see all those tulips though?

The tulips should grow back for several years, so hopefully next year you'll be able to enjoy them, or come here and visit the Keukenhof.

The tulips I got for Christmas are just starting to bloom, I'll be sorry to leave them, guess the neighbors will enjoy them.
