Ah, Nto, I know what you're talking about now after our text. Slow means, slow on the web page.

You're not imagining things, Dunkin Donuts is an east coast brand. Anything west of NY is a chance happening for them. Boston is swarming with them.

Though I just read they're planning on expanding national from 5,000 stores to 15,000 by 2020. Apparently they're also the original Starbucks, driving the price of coffee from 5 cents to 10 cents when they first came out.

I think they are all here in NY -- I don't know if I just didn't ever pay attention to Dunken Donuts before or there really are so many of them up here. So tempting.

Good question. Where are the donuts?

The nice weather made me want to buy a shovel then you can't have a new shovel just sitting there unsoiled so I went to work digging holes in the backyard. Dug up the sidewalk path that was mostly burried. Probably isn't smart to fill the holes back in with leaves and not dirt.

Thanks for the fun weekend, all. I look forward to getting second to last in the Tourney Challenge with Kansas winning it all.

Made it to Utrecht. Not sure which will be tougher: getting used to the Dutch or getting used to city living.

Found the messiest project yet for the girls. We used some of the left over tiles from the upstairs bathroom, the big ones. We each used a tile, squirted paint on it to our satisfaction and then laid a piece of muslin in it. After we did several muslin's we used stamps in the paint along the sides of our design and some hand painting too. Like I said it was amazingly messy, but a lot of fun. Good thing I had lots of vinyl tablecloths to lay down all over the place and I remembered to make the girls sit on the old wooden chairs. We're planning a repeat of the project later in the week. Still deciding to do with the cloth, pillowcases, bags, or a quilt.

didn't the smaller rooms in Lawson have an older version of something like that? None of my teachers ever used it but I remember looking at the buttons and the box on the wall.

I've been using clickers for about 3 years now. They are cool, especially for large classes.

Not getting the snow we want.

Spent a couple of hours outside working on the garden today. It was a beautiful day to be out there. Hope we get some next week when the girls are here.

I owe the win to Jimmy Johns. If their subs were not so good I would not have driven 50 minutes to Ithaca. If I had not driven the 50 minutes to Ithaca I would not have seen that covered bridge, the waterfall, or gone shopping at the shops near the Jimmy Johns. Had I not gone shopping near the Jimmy Johns I would not have gone to Ten Thousand Villages and I would not bought the scarf that I wore today and sealed the win with!!

wow, going down that NIT bracket was like reading a who's who of concrete canoe past champions.

I'm going with the one bracket, one pool, one winner technique again this year. Also, don't we spell 'Ohlerama' with only one 'R'? As in Ohler-AMA

eo.

I wanted to declare unequivocally that the "Never up, Never in" submission is my official bracket for the challenge this year. That is, of course, provided my other bracket submission doesn't win. By the way, sorry for being late on my getting my NIT bracket group put together so we could actually pick Illinois to win another game.

Oh, health care reform is trading in the 70s. Something is going on in Washington.
