Generally speaking, it's normal because the department head is time constrained, not incompetent. Turns out, this girl is time constrained as well and really knows how to work her boyfriend.

I just got an e-mail for a guy asking about the contents of my class. He's not in my class. He was asking for his girlfriend. She needs to have learned one-way ANOVA in order to get into graduate school. I'm guessing that if she hasn't learned to e-mail for herself yet, she probably shouldn't be going to graduate school.

Snow reached the Netherlands so far the public transportation is still functioning... Keeping my fingers crossed that I will be able to take the train home after my silversmithing class that ends at 10 p.m.

Still snowing. We have a new siding on our house, it's white, we call it "snucco". It even coats the windows. I think we should move to Houston.
