The shredded paper to stuff a throw pillow worked pretty good. Next project is to turn the metal part of a floppy disk into a picture frame. Add a small piece of wood to hold it up and put your picture in.

Back in Mt. Pulaski. No snow left here. Could almost fool myself into thinking spring is coming.

Is anyone in need of a blender and/or a hand mixer with attachments? If not, they are going to good will on Saturday.

more toyota recalls due to sticking accelerators:

The latest recall, announced Thursday, affects the RAV4, Corolla, and Matrix models from 2009 and 2010, Avalons from model years 2005 to 2010, Camrys from 2007 to 2010, the 2010 Highlander, the 2007 to 2010 Tundra and the 2008 to 2010 Sequoias. About 1.7 million of the vehicles cited are also affected by the earlier recall.

If your vehicle starts accelerating out of control, the safest thing to do is switch to neutral.

Got out the runway project to entertain here in Racine. Lauren was a lot more enthused about it once she saw how the projector worked! She's feeling better today so it's more about keeping entertained.

I prefer to leave the bread off and just have my turkey doused in ketchup.

our founding fathers made their ketchup from oyster juice.

Sometimes I just leave the turkey off, especially if there is none in my office refrigerator. But there is always ketchup in there!!!!

Brandon was right to make fun of you, but I am amazed at the coincidence of two outlying freaks finding each other. Thank you interweb.

Finally, someone else that puts ketchup on their turkey sandwich. Brandon said I was weird for doing it. Now I know I am normal.

Wait, wait, wait... you keep food in your refrigerator/freezer? I always wondered what that things was for.

Can you be more specific in what you substituted it in. On a sandwich, as the base of a salad, etc.

taod

Ran out of lettuce, so I substituted cabbage. Not too bad.

Thanks rsj for the new table. Once it gets warmer I'll have fun rearranging that room now that I have more room out there. For those of you I haven't talked to lately, lots of changes here. My basement and walls are now all insulated. There's a door between the kitchen and dining room, which keeps the downstairs much warmer, and today they're installing the last of the new windows downstairs. It's keeping things much cozier here.

Thank you to all who helped move this weekend and to those who were on the receiving end of getting stuff. It feels good to be into one household now.

Good day for snowboarding (no rocks)!

So they're calling for ice on Wednesday, but also a high of 39 so I guess I shouldn't be too worried about driving up to Eric's. The forecast up at his place is just for a high of 29, but no ice.

Jason, Amy, Roman, and I checked out downtown Peoria today. If you ever find yourself penniless and homeless in Peoria, there's a nice heated public restroom down by the river you can sleep in.

Back home again. Actually I got home awhile ago, spent the next couple of hours on the phone. I had a nice visit with Rita and Brandon.

Ah, no ice skating lessons today... but we fun-skated yesterday. The kids are getting better. My arm wasn't sooo tired from holding Thomas up this time.
