Well, it looks like both Daniela and Thomas will have teachers which were chosen 2 weeks before the start of the school year. Thomas' teacher has 28 years of kindergarten experience, so I think that will go well. She is saying they will learn some German and some Spanish. Great.
I still don't know who Dani's teacher is going to be, but she doesn't start until Wednesday, so they have a few more days to find a replacement.

I'm without internet at home for the next week and a half. Had to return Merel's cable modem to cancel her service and it takes two weeks for them to bring it back. I read somewhere that cable companies are rated one of the lowest rated industries for customer service. Even lower than the IRS.

I'm so looking forward to the bounce house this weekend.

This must be my food inspiration month. Tonight we watched a video on making bread at Herb Guild and three of the ladies had made the breads that were shown. They were wonderful. I'm thinking I need to do some baking so I may bring something new to Eric's party this weekend.

Oh, I remember some University Studies majors at SIU. They had been in school for close to 20 years.

Sounds like a good group to keep together so they don't annoy the ones who actually come to class. Let them all flounder alone together.

I split my class into groups to discuss their groups projects. I had grouped them by major, and what I learned today is that University Studies majors don't come to class.

I skipped seeing Julie & Julia for fear of wanting to cook something and since I will be living in a hotel for the forseeable future that will just not work well. I saw the Time Traveler's Wife instead. Pretty interesting and I enjoyed not being able to guess the end or thinking 1/2 way through the movie that this is just like 5 other movies already out there.

We had Swedish meatballs with Nathaniel last night. So, almost like you Merel!

I'm in Sweden now ready to go to my brother's wedding. After the ceremony
we will have a real Swedish dinner, should be interesting. I think someone
hacked into your calendar; apparently buying Viagra is an upcoming event.

The movie was great, but now I have this terrific urge to cook something fabulous.

I just spent all morning and part of the afternoon ordering pictures online. I have a sampling from the entire summer ordered.
I'll be leaving to see "Julie and Julia" shortly with Phyllis Hawk. Tracy and I didn't manage to fit that into the busy schedule in Bozeman and I thought I'd missed my chance to see it, but Phyllis knew where it was playing in downtown Decatur.

MADE IT TO WILLIAMSBURG!!!! When they canceled the 1:55 flight at 3:30 I ran to the bus to go to another terminal and run to the gate for the 4:00 flight. Made it on that, but find it incredibly wrong for a 1/2 full flight to take off somewhere when the same airline just cancelled a full flight accross the airport to the same destination and did nothing to get any of those passengers onto the 1/2 full flight.

I talked to her on the plane, waiting for the weather to clear. We hung up when it sounded like they were taking off soon, but she texted to let me know they were still sitting.

Well, I just talked to Veronica so she could pass the time some, and it seems the latest flight was just cancelled... she hung up so she could go rebook... so she may have some more time to talk here in a little bit.

Well, Nico has just formed his first sentence. He got the "I need, I need..." from the HSM Fabulous song, add the word "up" which he knew already and ....waalaa..."I need up."

It's not as funny as the (almost) sentence of "Daddy all wet", but it's his first.

Not independent enough to ride the bus, but we will get there.
