We got in shortly after midnight. Heading out for a walk early this morning. Thanks for the dragon boat races. EO, if you are still awake for pics, they'll be up sometime this morning. Keep refreshing.

Attended a wedding with a 'knot tying' ceremony and contra-dancing at Roy's Barn yesterday. Came home with a windchime made from the silverware.

Shipped Frank off at 5:30am to San Diego for an ESRI conference. Sandy and I greeted at church. She played all day and I reassembled the living/dining room. I hope Frank likes it (if not he'll have to move the piano back by himself...if I can move it, so can he). Remember Frank, this was your idea.

We just got home from Rockford. Men were tubing, women were croqueting. Said goodbye to Frank and released Lauren to a week in
kin-care. I will be refreshing relho every 5 minutes until I see some Dragon pics.

I'm in Missoula, MT for the evening. Expect a morning/early afternoon arrival in Bozeman tomorrow. I anticipate the Dougher house being open, with options on walking Chewy.

I'm at Rita's, waiting for them to come home, sounds like it'll be a long wait, but that's okay. I'm ready for some quiet time.

Good day in Chicago, after Nathaniel left and we checked out Union Station, we walked down to
The Millenium Park. Merel and her family enjoyed the bean!

Went up the Sears Tower with mom and Merel's family. Went out on their new "glass ledge" to look straight down some 103 stories. That's somewhat disconcerting.

Had some Giordano's and then I caught a train at Union Station destined for Milwaukee Airport. The trip isn't too bad, probably the same if I'd caught the faulty blue line to O'Hare.

NTO and I are in DesPlains. We taught Merel's folks and brother cribbage last night. This morning we're off to downtown Chicago.

bleah... I used the zend API to grab the album listings from picasa... unfortunately the album listings appear to be a bit of a memory hog and most of them are currently exceeding the php limit.

For reference, retrieving a feed with a single entry uses 9197384 or about 9MB of memory.

Well, one week of the live traps and we got ZERO with those. I'm not sure how the chocolate plaster of paris is working because it's harder to see the results. I didn't see any of the little guys on the hill this morning. I think it would be too much to hope they are all gone already though. However it is good to get the chipmunk out from under our front porch. He was wreaking havoc on the lawn.

Wisconsin fourth

Seems to be a weekend for changing plans out west. The Doughers reported an abreviated camping trip. Glad Nathaniel and Merel enjoyed the goodies, wherever you ate them.

Thank you Sandy and Adrienne, for our birthday presents! We finally made use of them today, two months after receiving them. We hiked up the Triple Tree Trail with all the provisions for our pick nick. Once at the top we decided that there were too many flies, so we hiked back down. After wards we drove over to Lindley park and had our pick nick there.
