erico, can we get a video of Lauren and Payton singing the Garden Song? That way we can sing along too and make sure we get the same beat. We can even "practice" together one night online if you have time.
That's an excellent idea. Would someone like to head the committee to notify Veronica that Relho is working again?
ps. I knew Eric was going to say that.

Agrobacterium tumefaciens is pretty amazing, actually. Once scientists learned how it worked, they used it to genetically transform many dicot plants. The bacteria inserts a chunk of its DNA into the plant's cells. So it's really the plant's own cells that are proliferating (with the foreign DNA in it).

TAOD: And in English that means. Actually I found it on Wikipedia. I didn't realize that fungus and bacteria could cause galls. I just knew about the insects and mites causing them.

Tracy, any idea what would cause that giant gaul looking thing on the tree in photos 18 and 19? The tree is dead, I'm assuming this did it in, but what is it?

Invenergy Plans To Build Wind Farm In Illinois.
The AP (5/15) reports, "A Chicago company plans to build a $400 million-plus wind farm that would stretch across two eastern Illinois counties." Invenergy LLC announced that "it has deals with property owners to erect up to 133 wind turbines on 28,000 acres in Champaign and Vermilion counties." The AP notes, "Building, if permitted, would start by the summer of 2010 and the wind farm could be running by the end of that year."

Interesting trip to Pittsburgh yesterday -- left Spokane shortly after 6 a.m., arrived in Pittsburgh shortly after 8 p.m. Even with a three hours time change that's a long trip. The good news is I can now manage a free flight somewhere else!

Snowed here yesterday.
That would be the pirate book that Frankie and Sandy are reading.
Great pictures RSO. We needed you in Spokane down at Riverside Park yesterday. There were some great scenic shots. My batteries had died already, don't know how the rest made out. I'll get my pictures up later this week.
