Good start to celebrating my birthday. Supper with Patsy Wednesday night at the new Chinese restaurant in Lincoln -- Chi's, and the food was great.
Today I spent in Bloomington with my friend Patti. We spent most of the day at the quilt show, watched a couple of demonstrations and a bed turning, had a late lunch and visited the fabric warehouse where I got more material, since going to the quilt show gives me more ideas of what to make, and we finished off with ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery. Tomorrow evening is the Mystery Dinner in Lincoln with Matthew, Veronica, The Scanavino's and Todd.
Sometimes it's great fun getting old.
Well I'm all up for Thomas and Nicolas' suggestions. Daniela's is the expected answer.

I asked the kids what they wanted to do with Grandma when she is here...
Daniela - SLEEP (ok I should not ask the question in the morning)
Thomas - what are my options? (cook something is his favorite)
Nicolas - volcano science project.

Happy Birthday Tony - for your birthday I was going to let you be ahead of me in the NCAA brackets, but your picks... come on.

Yes. I have a job. Today, on this nice warm warm March day, I'm currently in a windowless office trying to estimate the value of our city's bike trail. Irony?
