Just resubmitted my revise and resubmit to the Energy Journal. Christmas vacation has officially started for me. I will celebrate by doing laundry, eating lunch, and taking Dylan for a walk.

mom - I am good for grocery shopping tonight - anytime after 5:30. Anyone else that wants specific snacks and lunches or speciality items for their dinners please feel free to send me a list before 4. I would like to have some food on hand, but not something that won't get consumed.

Okay did I just turn down something one of you tried to set up for me -- a medical alert emergency system, or did I just avoid some sort of rip-off. It included $3,000 in grocery coupons -- that's what made me suspicious.

48 hours until the turkey is to be taken out of the freezer.

There are several countdowns going on in my head: hours left to work until Christmas vacation, hours until we depart Houston for Mt. Pulaski, hours until we arrive in Mt. Pulaski, Christmas presents left to buy. I know I should focus on the here and now but it's really hard when there are so many fun things coming up!

VO can not move anywhere until we've refound everything we've put away for Christmas! I thought we'd done a good job of sorting a lot of stuff and getting rid of tons, but.... Anyway we've managed to clean off shelves in all of the sleeping rooms so people have room to put some stuff out. Made room for air mattresses. We're making great progress.
