Managed to slip and fall on my knee when I was just twenty feet away from the car on the way down the "M". This resulted in a three hour stay at the ER and three stitches on my right knee. Probably won't be running the Utah half marathon :-( At least started training for the next one!

I'm back to hoping I'll be looking decent in a couple of weeks after the treatment so hopefully I'll be up for travel again in early August if anyone is looking for company, or I would definitely be up for someone coming to visit me.

Definitely pays to get a second opinion. The ointment the skin doctor wanted me to use cost $735 and my insurance wouldn't pay anything on it according to the pharmacy in town. Took it to Walgreens today, they ran it and said I'd have to pay $60 (as opposed to $10 for the cheaper medicine).
It's a difference of three days worth of treatments opposed to two to three months of them. I'll pay the extra to get it over and done with.

Haha! I think I may get kicked out of this family yet. Daniela bought cribbage to take with her for Abuelita Silvia and her to play with, but when they asked me to help explain how to play I couldn't even help them after I tried to read the instructions.
