The name of the episode from "Foyle's War" was "The Funk Hole". Merel
uses the closed captioning occasionally, sometimes with humorous
results.

Historical context

In the first year of the war, the British government made dire predictions of
the amount of bombing in major cities that would occur, and moved large
numbers of people out to the countryside. After a while, they reversed these
predictions, but certain people preferred to stay in their temporary lodgings,
out of danger, which they could do if they could afford to pay. Such hotels
and guest houses became known as "funk holes" because their residents'
actions were regarded as cowardice.

I got out and weeded today too, just a second of one of the boxes. Water grass had taken over so it's a lot of work.

I mowed with the push. Husqvarna has a flat that will be repaired tomorrow and we can finish mowing the rest. Garden is still only half weeded.

I did the same thing today. Mulch and grass seed. Dylan's been over-fertilizing the lawn.

I got 27th out of 64 women at my crossfit competition this weekend. 3 workouts complete. My favorite was being last to leave for the 800m run, and the first to finish it. Good Saturday. =)

Did I mention that Lucy Minella is going to live with me starting May? No? Well, she is, and I feel as if life has come full circle. Dylan is very excited about it or is just excited about the peanut butter I just gave him. I can't decide.

Recycling! Actually there's 4 places. You also have the Recycling Ramp, that's on third. There's Recyclers-R-Us, that's on third too. Matter of fact, they're all in the same complex, it's the recycling complex on third.

Pacific Recycling now takes E-waste anytime.

In honor of Earth Day, the Gallatin Solid Waste Management District will host a free E-waste event for Gallatin County residents and businesses on Saturday, April 20th.

It will be held at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds at 901 North Black, in the back of the east parking lot from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Sorry, I don't have any national news. This is just funny because I had a stack of electronics waiting for recycling so long that Merel arranged with Staples to recycle them. Then the free E-waste even finally shows up again.

Sandy and I saw that via Reddit last night. We were both floored.

This has been buzzing around on my FB feed. I thought some of my family members might enjoy it.

Dylan got out of the gate. I did not follow him but went and got a treat instead. He immediately came back. I love this dog!

the correct answer was: sausage/green pepper on one, pepperoni on the other. morning 5K through the streets of bellaire, 2 softball games, an afternoon science experiment, movie theater for the girls, wine and dinner for the adults. sunburns for those not paying attention.

Thomas got Minecraft and will be playing that all weekend. Edgardo went to a friend's house to fix their computer. I planted flowers and ran 6 miles. Taxes tonight and maybe a movie with the Garzon family.

That is Dr. Kimble. She delivered Kamden. Good time randomly running into her.

There are unlimited toppings on the pizzas at Tacotown this weekend! Will be starting research on my NCAA brackets for next year.

I am too nervous/excited to eat. There will be bowling, taxes, and yard cleaning this weekend.

Me next. B and i will be attending a Wizard of Oz party tonight at the art institute. Tomorrow hoping to get To a park with the boys. Sunday is church and Brandon leaving for a work trip. Pics may or may not follow.
