Got my "worst restaurant service experience" kicked up a level. The waiting
around to be seated didn't do it. The "oh we lost your order and need to
retake it" didn't even make us blink. Thai ice teas in styrofoam cups?
Maybe the dishwasher was out sick. The guy at the table next to us
repeatedly trying to get the waiter's attention just made us chuckle. It was
half an hour later, when the waitress brought my dinner and then looked at
the other guy and said "we're out of duck, would you like a menu again?"

There will be a 5K run/walk to raise funds for Annabelle Phillips on March 9th at 10 a.m. (that's the second saturday in March). Anyone interested in coming home that weekend and running or walking it. It's $10 a person and the funds go to the family for expenses for Annabelle.
For anyone who hasn't followed on facebook, Annabelle is the month old daughter of Darin and Amy who is dying of cancer.

Nice ESso. We miss you though. Yesterday was crazy... School nurse called twice because Thomas had a pain in his side. He's fine now, so I think it was a pulled muscle from sledding. Took Daniela and Malena to CFC with Nico in tow. Thomas went to the Christmas pagent with the Garzon family and had a great time at their house afterwards. We're all tired and it's only Tuesday. The best part was when Chumbawumba came on the radio and I got to learn all about the road trip Daniela had with her Uncles!
