Well that sucks.

Well the good news is my face is healing nicely, the doctor removed the top layer of stitches he put in on monday from removing the cyst. The bad news is it was cancerous so I'll find out Monday if he needs to go back in and remove more tissue. It looks like this is just my year to have my face look awful.

It just didn't end yesterday. I almost fainted when I went to put the seat back in the car and saw pen marks all over it. The neighbor kid that rides to camp with us had a pen sticking out of his backpack. Aaargh!
Well, today is another day, so I'm hopeful it will be better.

What a morning tending towards chaos. Broken glass -> broken vacuum -> extra time sweeping the floor. Nico spilled chocolate milk on his Y shirt that he has to wear for the field trip. AAargh! Come home Edgardo!

biked up to Watkins Glen with a friend just to find that her tire went flat beyond repair. Biked back by myself to get a car and go pick her up. Glad that she was biking with someone else when it happened!

Got back from Boy Scout Camp (photos to follow), and just dropped Frankie off for the MCC.

Edgardo's grandmother passed away yesterday.

"Les Miserables" was rained out tonight in Normal, so we switched plans and went to see "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" again. I don't remember the last time I was in a theater that was as full as the Normal Theater was tonight. It adds to the fun of the movie to have a theater full of people laughing at the jokes and applauding the show at the end.
The bad news was that for all the rain in Normal, Mt. Pulaski didn't get a drop.

biked down to Elmira, NY today listening to the end of Mark Twain's auto biography. Stopped by Samuel Clemens' gazebo that is now on the Elmira College campus, but did not stop by the Landon burial plot. Thought that might be a little creepy to listen to his words while visiting his grave site.
