Prezi is very easy to learn... its only good if you are using it as an outline for a presentation... Its good to put a few guide words up at a time that will guide you through your class, presentation, etc. If you have a lot of information to present you are better off using ppt

Anyone on the Ohler Team familiar with Prezi. Wondering what you guys think of it and if it's worth my investment in time?

When and where are you going? Sarah and I are still working
on ours. I think we're going to do a week in Amsterdam and
then one in Prague, but haven't committed to anything definite
yet.

And we created an outline of our trip to Europe! As a result, this morning I sent my boss my request for 2 weeks off from work. Can't wait.

Just checked out the genealogy work that Luke has been doing. Might have some Dutch blood in the family. Awesome work Luke. Sandy loves learning about her family history.

Catch-up time:
Took a metalsmithing class (I call it metalsmithing, but they call it "beginner jewelry"). It was interesting, and I learned I can't saw a straight line. Worked with copper and silver.
Got what I presume to be walking pneumonia. That was an unpleasant week. Now I just have a cough, but that's waning.
I'm trying to look for a new job, if anyone has input on that.
Watched "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" on Netflix (Swedish version). It was good, though violent. Oh, and saw the Tin-Tin movie. It was pretty good too. Sandy seemed to enjoy it quite a bit.
The wedding plans are coming along... Merel has setup the church, priest, and reception hall. We're trying to setup lodging for ~20 for the week (we may either have 2 large apartments or a block of hotel rooms, unsure yet).
Found a silver dime in my spare change. Apparently they have $2 worth of silver in them. That was the excitement this week I suppose.
Oh, and I gave up on the "now you can play" songs at the end of book 1, and have started the piano lessons in book 2. Got "Down in the Valley" down, and have started in on "Tumbalalaika".
The yellow room is no longer yellow. Matthew spent the day moving out furniture, taking up the carpet and getting the room ready to paint. Then painting the ceiling. This evening I helped and we got the room painted.

This should be an interesting day....only 2 hours of sleep. I'm hoping it rains so I can cancel the evening weed pull at my research plots. I also hope that I remember to give the correct answers at my final exam review sessions today.
