I had a quick trail run after you left. Then as I was pumping gas and it started to snow, I thought of you driving and hoped the storm was coming from the south or west.

forgot 2 things today --
1) in the winter take the southern route
2) check the weather before a road trip
remembered 2 things today --
1) when sliding on ice don't slam on the breaks
2) slow and steady
Made it home in an extra hour 45 minutes, but I made it safely!!
Otherwise the weekend was soooo much fun and the legs got a serious workout on the hills.
Love the picture of the Eaton product. I thank someone for helping to pay my salary!!

It was only 10 years ago V. Mine just expired. Walgreens cost $12 to get the pictures taken. It was $15 at the post office.

Also, you can get often get passport photos taken at drugstores for <$10.

Good deal Rita. Everyone please make sure you have passports and they are current (double check!). It can take over six weeks for the normal process, and it costs a lot more to expedite. The passport book costs $135, fees included, and first timers must appear in person. (you do NOT want the passport card, that only gets you around North America)
You'll also need proof of citizenship (a certified birth certificate), an in-state driver's license, a photocopy of the front and back of both the previous, and a passport photo.

Thanks Tony! For anyone keeping tabs, the healing seems to be quick :) The swallowing problems seem to be gone, though I'm still eating smoothies and yogurt just to be sure, and the biggest problem now is waking up with an itchy beard inside a neck brace. I told Tracy and Merel already how amazing it is to have clear thoughts again and to wake up thinking about future plans once more. Wonderful.
And the waterfall photo is very neat V, and the kids look like they're having quite the fun time in your photos mom. Looking forward to that next trip I get to see everyone again :)
