Looks like our weather except 10 degrees warmer.

based on our experience living near the gulf, those are
afternoon 'isolated' and 'scattered' showers, not a storm
front that would move through like in the midwest. They blow
in from the Gulf and are generally small and quick (and
usually welcome and refreshing). also, no invests, tropical
waves, storms, depressions, or hurricanes in the forecast.
that said, more rain means more time for Veronica to lose to
me at ddr.

I'm heading to Rita's this morning and we head for Pensacola Friday after lunch.

I packed last night and cleaned until midnight. Nico woke up at 2:00am and hasn't been back to bed yet. It's amazing what kids find interesting at that time. "Mommy, I have hair on my arms! Do you have hair on your arms?" "Oh, there are my shoes!" Poor, sleepy Mommy.

Anyway, our trip should hopefully begin tonight. Trying to make it to Charlotte tonight and then Eufaula Friday.

You'll be doing fantastic if any make it.

Glad Merel arrived safely. It's exciting that Ohlerama III is
officially under way. I had a haircut and pedicure this
morning, the last load of laundry is in the dryer and my
suitcase is half packed. My trip officially starts tomorrow
morning, can't wait!

We should have posted this yesterday but the very first part Ohlerama travel started and was successfully completed. Merel arrived safe and sound in Houston. She's getting her tour of Houston from two very reliable sources: Lauren and Payton! Can't wait to see what she learns from them.
