We got the arctic air beginning of the week. Then little bits of snow. I just swept the driveway every day to keep it clear. However, I hear we have a bit more coming tonight. Back to shoveling it will be.

Not as much snow here as thought we'd get, yet. It's still snowing and blowing though. Just hope the temperatures don't plunge as low as they're calling for over the next couple of days.

First round of shoveling done. If I get out there every 2 inches I should be able to keep up with the snow. Lets see if my body keeps up with the shoveling though.

in the mountains above 6000 feet... 10 to 20 inches of snowfall are expected through Tuesday night... while 4 to 7 inches of snowfall are possible in the valleys through the period
northerly winds of 10 to 20 mph will spread south into the area
at 1130 am MST the Gallatin river remained over it banks due to a major ice jam near Big Sky ... when the ice jam breaks... there is the potential for a significant amount of water to rush down the Gallatin river quickly
