Well, one week of the live traps and we got ZERO with those. I'm not sure how the chocolate plaster of paris is working because it's harder to see the results. I didn't see any of the little guys on the hill this morning. I think it would be too much to hope they are all gone already though. However it is good to get the chipmunk out from under our front porch. He was wreaking havoc on the lawn.

Seems to be a weekend for changing plans out west. The Doughers reported an abreviated camping trip. Glad Nathaniel and Merel enjoyed the goodies, wherever you ate them.

Thank you Sandy and Adrienne, for our birthday presents! We finally made use of them today, two months after receiving them. We hiked up the Triple Tree Trail with all the provisions for our pick nick. Once at the top we decided that there were too many flies, so we hiked back down. After wards we drove over to Lindley park and had our pick nick there.

finally home after 2 days in racine, 2 in champaign, 2 in mt. pulaski, and 3 more in racine... very good vacation, lots of outdoor activities.
i was definitely driving in the right direction this time as the dells were letting out. eastbound looked like parade speed.
