I really like our kindle fire. I do yoga with it, games for the boys, and a little facebook. Not great for typing but convenient. We don't have a tablet to compare to though. And Brandon does library books on it too.

The Experimental Streaming Viewer allows you to view videos on the web using Silk.
Go to the Web tab > Menu > Settings > Accelerated page loading > turn on.
This will turn on two other settings:
- Enable Flash Forward
- Prompt for experimental streaming viewer

You need to have the latest software update to use this:

If that doesn't give you the desired results:
To install Flash: (You have to have a Flash compatible browser in order to install Flash. You can't install it under Silk.)
Do the following on the Fire / Fire HD itself:
Swipe down from the top > More > Device > Allow Installation of Applications.
*Install ES File Explorer: ES File Explorer
Download and install the Dolphin HD and Flash Player apk files from these links:

*Flash Player: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B46yVXXa5JqvWUc1YVhjRlkyanM/edit?usp=sharing
Once both files are downloaded to your Fire, open ES File Explorer and look in the "Downloads" folder. You should see both files there.
Install Dolphin HD *first* by tapping on the icon. Then Install Flash by tapping on the icon.
When you launch the Dolphin browser, go into the settings and make sure "User Agent" is set to "Desktop."

I like my kindle fire, but it was free. I use it for audio books from the library, Netflix, for internet when I go to mom's house, it is easier to move around my house with than my laptop, but I do not enjoy silence. Also it sucks to type on, but you may be more used to its style from your phone.

My Kindle died last week and it's out of warranty. They are offering me a replacement. I'm curious how you Kindle Fire users are liking your products. I can't decide if I should get one or avoid the Kindle replacement loop and get a actual tablet. Thoughts?
