ro2, are you scratching that off your list, or checking it off?
Does #14 now get promoted to #13?

Since no one in our house plays basketball, it will not be missed. Though oddly enough, we are thinking about a free-standing hoop.
AO, Nov 4-7. Nov 5 I have a fly-in-fly out meeting in Minneapolis, so I thought I'd hang around a little longer. Too bad the Twins will have finished winning the World Series by then. Oct 9-11 we are in Pocatello for a marching band competition.
And Chewie's first jump onto the new bed was definitely to the original height, but she caught on quickly. She can make it.

Nice job on the bed Frank. The house looks good too.

Cool stuff, Doughers. Can Chewy still jump on that bed?
Taod, when will you be in Minnesota. I'll be up there Oct. 9-11 for a frisbee tournament.
Tracy if you get a chance can you give me the name of that music book you have. Thanks,

i believe 5:06 also qualifies as "sick", but I'm not an expert.

Also, I have an attempted layout D at 2.09 but instead cause a foul. My mark in 2.11 allows Lori to get the D.
I threw a hammer and a push-pass that weekend, none of which was caught on film. Sectionals are this weekend in Chicago.

VMO, I'm on 10 hrs mandatory OT, so I feel your pain.
Anyway, I got away Thursday and Friday for the NSPE conference. Nice technical presentation of the North Shore Connector and then a tour afterwards. Tomorrow I get to tour the Carrie Furnace. Cool beans!
Also, I'm not sure about October, we will see. Edgardo's Grandma is not doing well, so he may be making a quick trip to Chile. Nothing is planned yet.
Mom, still not sure about China. Now they are asking for resumes to review and someone said they rejected a presenter last time for having less than 5 years experience in nuclear. I would have thought they cleared all that up before they told us we're going, but clearly they didn't. I will keep you posted.

ESSODSTSNS - good news / bad news. I don't have to go to the meeting in PA next week so I already feel like I just gained back 2 days of me time. Sorry I don't get to come visit you. I am going to need a vacation soon so we should plan something in Oct.

OK, but can we just skip to the cheesecake?
We'll be sans Frankie as the high schooler has an important party to attend.

Just to clarify, it was the YMCA of the Rockies, not the YMCA of Denver. Thanks for setting up the survey AO, but is 1 best, or 10 best?

Where is the center of Sandy?
ao

Since the YMCA in Denver was our only suggestion, I have looked up several vacation rentals and other locations for the family reunion. Through my frisbee team, I found the website Vacation Rentals By Owner (vbro.com). These are most of the suggestions, but you can still suggest locations as well.
Please take the time to look at ALL of the locations. It may even be best to take the survey with other family members to discuss what your preferences are, and figure out what works best for you.
There is no deadline, but the sooner you take the survey, the sooner we can start looking into booking a location.
T is for Thomas,
So full of promise.
He took a balloon,
All the way to the moon,
Quite unaware,
That it has no air.
S is for Sandy,
Who ate too much candy.
It started with a lollipop,
then ice cream and some soda pop,
When the ants found her trail,
It ended this tale.
F is for Frank,
Out on a plank
Said on a lark,
Let's go hunt for shark.
Learned too late
Who was to be bait
D is for Daniela
Not much to tell ya.
In an effort to fly,
She leapt from up high,
But no one expected,
That jet undetected
P is for Payton,
Not one for waitin'
Demanded a turn,
Before she could learn,
You're required to suit
Your own parachute
L is for Lauren
In the clouds soarin'
Took out her jet plane
In a deep cloud of rain
She might have been fine,
Had she seen Daniela in time
N is for Nicolas
Just way too ticklish
The slightest of breeze
And he was weak in the knees
The wind ended all hope,
Out on that tightrope.

Elmira-Corning or Ithaca or Binghamton -- but my guess is that the next direct flights we get will be TN or TX - we have natural gas here and everyone wants to frack for it. Note to self stop drinking the local water soon.

OK, the Doughers have been lobbying the airlines pretty hard. We now have a Bozeman-Atlanta direct and a Bozeman-Phoenix (Mesa) coming on line in November. Can I get you all to help me with a petition for direct flights to Bloomington, Houston, Pittsburgh, Lafayette, and what's the nearest airport V?
