Sandy's been like that every night at bedtime lately. It's hard to shut her down because she gets so cutesy when you start to get firm with her about going to bed. "mom, (dramatic pause) I love you. Can I tell you one more thing?"

VMO, no problem. We wouldn't have been much fun anyway. D & T had CCD until 7:30. Nicolas and I got home at 6:30,but were in bed by 9:00 because he was sick. He woke up at 3:00 with a fever again. I gave him some motrin and then he was like a crazy bird. Talking and talking and hyper like "oh, I have to go pee on your potty. Oh, I need to wash my hands. Oh, I need a band-aid. Mommy, help me. Mommy, whatcha doin? Can I watch Little Einseteins? and spiders and spiders." No sleep after that.

That was Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands, just outside of Canada.
The camel was there too, along with some whales, seals, and the occasional slug. It was Vivian's wedding, so a bit of a high school reunion for me. Some pics of the hikes and ferry ride to follow...
On a side note, they gave out little gift jars of hot chocolate at the wedding. In Seattle, TSA pulled me out of line and searched my luggage. When they found the jar, they asked, "oh were you at that wedding on the San Juan Islands?" ಠ_ಠ
