I think I can be ready for some Christmas Caroling by the 25th.

I just walked the 5 k route. The hill on the last block of Vine and first of Cooke is a little rough for us flatlanders, I know it's just a little bump to the rest of you. It took me an hour to walk -- since Adrienne just told me she ran a 21 min. 5 K I guess she can run it three times while I'm walking it once.

I'm guessing that Sandy would love to see Squeakqual but FrankT is going to take a pass.

Good news is the insurance covers the tire and rim, bad news it'll take a couple of days to get them. I took the car in here in town. I knew they'd take longer, but since Saturn is closed I wasn't sure where else to go.

I have beds all made, just need to run the vacuum and I'll be ready for people to stay here. Just one more present to have delivered and I'll be done with gifts too. Of course, that one was supposed to be delivered last week.

I don't think it works or something on this phone. I will have to read the manual or go to the store and figure out what is wrong. But I have been ignoring the problem because I get e-mail on my phone just as fast as texting these days.

I'm not sure about that... who ever plans on dropping off their luggage while they park the car? On top of that, if no one else is around, why do you need to watch the luggage? Best to play it safe and dowse the luggage.

I am just saying that I must be a little too excited about leaving if I am the first person at the airport. I am sure that there is someone else here somewhere, but not sure where. Hum... now this guy just asked me to watch his luggage while he parks his car. I would say that that is normally suspicious activity, but surprisingly it kind of isn't when no one else is around.

U of I sent out their freshmen acceptances by email this year. Cheryl and Bob's oldest grandson got one.

I just found out the new Ice Center does NOT provide helmets. So please bring a helmet with a strap if you have one. (bicycle/ski/snowboard/catcher/hockey/rafting helmet)

If you don't have a helmet you can bring, please let me know. If you have extras you can bring, please let me know. The ice rink does not require them, but I do.

They also don't provide pinnies, so please bring white and dark shirts for team rotations.
