Is a civil engineer considered a "developer". Hmmm?
Nice work Mom!

My boss's boss just came in and asked if I knew any developers looking for work.
And if they can start Monday.
He says we're looking for like 12 spots now, and we're hiring in several major cities. Or not hiring as the case may be.

you can also get too winded to have a conversation if someone shoots a puck into your hip.

No conversations over shoveling this morning.

It's only 2 miles to work and 2 miles back. It doesn't go anywhere else, really...not around here.
What do you think Frankie is going to drive?

Depends on who you're watching do the shoveling.
General rule of thumb for telling the difference between light, moderate, and vigorous intensity:
* Light Intensity: You can sing loudly while performing the activity.
* Moderate Intensity: You can carry on a conversation while performing the activity.
* Vigorous Intensity: You are too winded to carry on a conversation while performing the activity.

Marinated roaster red pepper sandwhich with goatcheese and basil on ciabatta bread. I love homemade sandwhiches.

Well I am going to stop comparing to you because I am at 145k. Did you just not drive it for a couple of years? I am thinking we can get to 200k, but we will see what the winter brings.

How many MET for deep snow shoveling?
118,000 Veronica! But we couldn't drive it today because the snow is piled as high as the car.

That's such a crappy camera phone.
Side roads weren't plowed. Thankfully the neighbor to the right drove out with his four-wheel drive so I could follow his deep tracks out. And the plows weren't wasting time clearing intersections, just building walls right down the middle.
Pretty sure I would've been dead stuck in my drive with the old tires. Not to say I wasn't sliding a bit still. Only saw one car stuck on the way in, though they were stuck in their lane, not on the side.

OH, hey there was constant Christmas music on the radio last weekend.
I'm finally back at the office. Thomas practically bounded out of bed in order to get to school today. All his friends were happy to see him.

Oh Christmas lights have been up here in Pulaski for at least a week. I saw some up in Bloomington on our walk and in Lincoln on my drive home last night too.

As I was driving through the neighborhood behind ours on Tuesday night I noticed that someone has theirs up already. November 10. Nice work.

Congratulatins to Tracy. So, does this news mean you could possibly now look into trading in the GEO? I am just saying I find it odd to think about getting a new car when you are still driving the one you got 6 years before I bought mine. Can I get a milage check?

Yes, it appears to have begun... 6 inches of new snow, forecast for snow throughout the day, high of 32F. I was going to go in early, but nothing is plowed yet.
