Great production of Les Miserables tonight in Bloomington. It's the high school version, but still an excellent play.

It's amazing how cool 83 feels after being in the 100s and 90s for a couple of days. We even got a little rain this afternoon, though now the sun is back out so it should be steamy.

AO and I made stepping stones this afternoon, two down more to go. RSJ if you haven't done yours yet, bring them with and we can have another session while you're here.

We're just gonna have to pack up and drive out to MT so I can set off fireworks.

They've already canceled the fireworks for the 4th in Mt. Pulaski. Things are very dry and dying around here. The forecast is for in the 90s for the next ten days and little chance of rain.
Congratulations Merel! Hope you get to celebrate tonight - we will toast to your accomplishment at dinner tonight. The girls will be so happy for you too!

I'm thinking that you belong in the dugout as you could probably hit as well as half of the Twins!
That was the view from my front door three days ago. I think that's the Pony fire. Over lunch yesterday I watched a helicopter flying back and forth across the valley. I'm guessing it was scooping water to fight the Bear Trap fire that is now filling the valley with smoke.

Sandy also loved Dylan, who is like a miniature horse.

Good trip home. The circus museum was fun, definitely worth the stop, just have to watch the timing so you hit the show. We did miss the magic show so I'll need to stop again sometime to catch that. Sandy loved the miniature horses.
Stopped in Bloomington and had sushi with AO for supper. We're home now, winding down and then heading to bed.

Sarah, the blow dryer you "loaned" me 12 years ago when you moved to Chile crapped out today. Any chance you want it back?
