Ideas on travel in the Czech Rep. and the rest of Europe

Ideas in Prague
Prague Castle
Golden Lane
Charles Bridge
Kampa
Boat trip on the Moldau
Petrin
Jewish Quarter
Old town square with the famous Orloj
Wenceslas square
Villa Muller
There is a whole lot more to visit in Prague, I will try and add more throughout the year, but if you just Google Prague you should be able to find lots of information yourself. Praguenet is also a great place to start looking. If anyone is interested in a guided tour, we can arrange that as well.

Daytrips
Krivoklat castle
Karlstejn castle English tours are available at both castles. Both these castles are very pretty and worth visiting, Krivoklat however is set in a more beautiful landscape; a little more hilly.
Cesky Krumlov
Pilsen This is where the original Pilsener (pale lager) beer comes from, it also is a beautiful city though!
Brno the city where I was born.

Travel in the Czech Republic
Unfortunately I cannot find any sites in English. I will be more than happy to help though to figure out the travel plans!
Idos
Student Agency a very cheap way to get around from city to city by bus in the Czech Rep., NOT just for students.

Trains
trains in Europe for non-Europeans
Dutch Rail
Czech Rail
German Rail

Cheap flights in Europe
Most of these airlines only allow one piece of carry- on luggage that doesn't weigh more than 10 kg (22 lb) and isn't bigger than specific measurements (they do check!!!!), it is possible to take more luggage for an extra fee. If you want to leave some luggage behind in the Netherlands or Czech Rep. we will be able to find a safe spot to keep them at.
Wizzair
Easyjet
Transavia
Ryanair
Aer Lingus
Smartwings
All airlines listed above will fly in to the Czech Rep. (Prague and/or Brno). There is a whole wiki page devoted to cheap airlines in Europe, for some reason the Dutch wiki has more links...

Airlines to Europe
Even though Delta, Czech Airlines, KLM, and Airfrance are partners they have different prices, generally Delta is the cheapest but not always.
Delta
United
American Airlines
Continental
British Airways
Czech Airlines
KLM
Aer Lingus
Lufthansa
Iberia
The easiest is probably to use Travelocity to find flights and then to book with the airline itself or Travelocity, whichever one is cheaper.
